Yes. Mine was 'STC' = St. Catherines office. Not sure if it matters, but you can always ask for the office location when you call them for status update.

I called for an update on my passport today. Was told the following: 1) Received on 8th July. Entered in the system but they haven't started working on the application. No CC charge yet. 2) Average processing time is now 20-30 business days + mail time.

Haha hindsight is 20/20. Tbh don't know why I'm concerned so much about the speed of processing; I don't think I'll be doing any international travel for months lol Maybe need to take a break from this forum and the comparisons that comes with it lol

Mine was delivered July 8th. Called today. Apparently the file is in the system, so I got a file number, but it hasn't even been checked for completeness, let alone be processed. Was told to check again after the 20 business days (from delivery).

Congrats! Got mine today :) Bit annoyed that after $630 fee(which the govt long ago promised to abolish), multiple formalities and many months of wait, the piece of paper all this was done for was casually folded and stuffed into the tiny mailbox haha They should really mail it in 'do not fold'...

I'm not sure because I don't have the need, so never looked into it. I do know that you can apply and get a Canadian passport on urgent basis (2 business days) but you would need to prove your reason of urgency. I'd suggest to take this option. Also let them know about your case, maybe they can...
