Folks, I applied to PR from Seattle. Now I quit my job and came to Vancouver as a visitor. I got medicals request today and I'll have to leave Canada in a month (my visa expires and best friend is getting married). I won't have time to get my passport back in a month. I'm thinking of PR locally...

Is it possible to get visitor's visa when application for PR is already submitted and in process? I already have a canadian visitor's visa, but I'm going to change passport. So, will need to reapply for V-visa.
