I have also used inkjet. My barcodes are printed by an inkjet. My pictures are also printed on an inkjet onto photo paper

Anyone else have any input?
It depends on factors that nobody would know, except yourself. The quality of the inkjet printer, the quality of the ink, the quality of the paper, etc. Is this a newer printer, and do you have the driver set for higher dot-per-inch setting? Are you using a refilled cartridge? Are you using paper made specifically for inkjet?

When you print the barcodes, are they nice and sharp, or do they bleed a little? Does it smear when you rub it? Does it bleed if you get the page wet?

If in doubt, it's not that expensive to go print it out on a laser printer. In our city, the local library has printing service, as do many of the office supply stores and copy stores. Average is about 10 Canadian cents per page.

Overseas, we have Internet bars, photo centres, office centres, and such. They normally print on A4 paper, but most can do 8.5 x 11 paper on request.

It is a brand new printer, and everything looks nice and crisp

I went ahead and printed on a laser printer. What a difference. All the greyed out areas actually show up. I thought my barcodes were nice with the ink jet until saw them done with the laser printer

I recommend using a laser printer!

Using an inkjet printer is generally fine for most printing tasks, including documents like resumes, letters, or forms. However, when it comes to specific tasks like printing certain types of labels or documents that require high precision or durability, a laser printer might be more suitable. For example, laser printers are often preferred for printing high-quality graphics or text with crisp, clear lines. If you're printing documents for personal or general business use, an inkjet printer should suffice. However, if you have specific printing needs or if you're printing documents for professional purposes where print quality and durability are critical, you might want to consider using a laser printer for those tasks. Ultimately, it depends on your printing needs and preferences. Both inkjet and laser printers have their advantages and disadvantages, so choose the one that best suits your requirements.
