Hi guys, first off I want to thank all those who helped us get this far! My Hubby is landing in 2 weeks, yipeeeee! :) But we just aren't sure about one thing: Is he supposed to have his pr card application printed out now, to be ready for when he arrives at the airport? Or do they have the...

My mexican husband recieved his police record from the "PGR" and on it is some kind of register that we are told it is some kind of minor thing but we don't know what it is. and the PGR said they do not know what it is and he would have...

    schedule A changed?

thanks for the input. Unfortunatley cic in mexico city wont accept phone calls with questions. And if you email them they take a month to reply. (no joke, it actually says at least 23 days) and then if its a question that they refer to somewhere in their website, they simply won't answer it at...

Can't remember job history in mexico df

Thanks guys, after making another thread about the 18 vs 10 years history, it just got answered here. But the question here is actually more about where to get information about job history......for example in Canada I can just get a print out from the revenue service. But I don't know where to...

    schedule A changed?

They say in schedule a to write your history either from the age of 18 OR for the past 10 years. My 32 year old husband (in Mexico city) put the past 10 years and they emailed saying its' not complete. They want his history from 18 years old........we are really confused! Has the schedule been...

Can't remember job history in mexico df

Hi there, My husband, who I am sponsoring, has always lived in Mexico city and is being asked for his job history since he was 18. For a few years he worked in many various places in which he can't remember, and yet he can't leave a gap in the history. Perhaps the Mexican government keeps a...

    Notary refuses to certify photocopy

thanks guys, next time I will get the notary part done first, saying its a true copy, THEN go to the translator for the stamp. I just hope they accept how its been done...... We are sending the originals with- that way if they would have any doubts, they can see the originals themselves. It...

    Notary refuses to certify photocopy

What do we do? He says he can't certify the same photocopy that the translator stamped. Instead he made his own copy of the photocopy, and certified that is a true copy of the photocopy. He also did not say the name of the document. Is this going to be a problem?

Did my translator give me what I require?

It makes sense what your saying, but they list the certified "copy" as needing to "accompany" the original.......which makes me uncertain. As it says in the guide: Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by: •the English or French translation; and •an affidavit from...

Did my translator give me what I require?

ok thanks, but does this mean I still need to see a notary, and if so, why wouldn't cic be able to hold the original paper beside the photocopy and see for themselves its the same?.............why would they need a notary to prove something that anyone can see? (

Did my translator give me what I require?

Hi guys, I am sponsoring my husband in Mexico city. We took our document to the translator yesterday. The office was very professional, in the world trade centre, and he is authorized by the superior court in Mexico, etc.........but I would like to be sure that what we got back from him is...

    Translator questions for mexico

in a nutshell I guess the most important thing I need to know is this: DO I need a notary, when the translator is certified by the Mexican court? In other words, is that good enough for certification of the photocopy? He is not an "officer of the court" He is not a "commissioner" nor a...
