    Yes your medicals need to be done before you get PR...Your lawyer maybe letting you know that you've passed all the other requirements such as Language, Work experience, Police check. So with your medicals completed and approved then everything else should go through and hopefully get your PPR...

    We were told that our file was in the queue via email from Buffalo as I sent them an email enquiring it it and we got our PPR five days later so it shouldn't be long for you hopefully ;D

    Employer reference letter –Main job duties not listed.

    Have you got the contract from the Service Canada for your Labour Market Opinion document from your employer stating the hours and job description?? you can include that in with your documents when applying through CEC cos we had to do that cos my husband's employer gave him a similar...

    Until you get confirmation that you have been approved/rejected, then I would wait if I were you...You can, of course, apply for PNP if you are worried about your application or better still send a case specific enquiry to your visa office about your application for before doing anything else.. :)
