    the same thing would happen to us....i would inquire via email they would reply something like in queue of processing and then the next day we would get an email from them...you really never know....but if they said your application is in process i guarantee you that in 2 months you will get...

    we never asked for an extension. It was not necessary in our case. We all lived in Argentina and I came here first (canada) months ago then he asked for a TRV since we did not see things moving along and I needed help looking for houses, etc. We got the PPR a month after he got the TRV.

    Have you tried writing to the embassy? AT the most you will get the answer in queue for processing however it will not hurt to try. You do not need to check the CIC website everytime. Try to sign up for the ecase tracker. Almost everyone in this forum uses it. It is fantastic. They way it works...
