Soooo we just finished our family sponsorship process.. got COPR and landed. It states that is valid for 10 years. As one would expect, 10 years isn't exactly "permanent"... how do we go about extending this should we choose not to get citizenship? Thanks!

It took me 1 month after this point. Each persons application is different though. Be patient, they wont forget about you!

I got DM status today with no Passport request.. no email... nothing.. does this seem odd? what next? I had read this is a bad sign.. got me all worked up.. :o oh, american being sponsored by a canadian. ECAS has application started, to in process, meds recieved, to dm..

I would send them a reply email asking wtf it is they want.. or maybe even call. thats really odd.

Im also interested in this. Got DM today. I assume next is COPR in the mail. Who do they send it to? Applicant or the sponsor? and how long should it take?
