The officer asked few questions and then gave us his congatulations for becoming a Permanent Resident in Canada. It probably took us 15 minutes to process our permanent residency.     Thanks gary! It took us 12 working days to get our passport back together with the CoPR. I started counting after it was delivered to Windsor. Regarding the passport, they attached an immigrant visa on it. Also there's a new option now to get the permanent residency status in Canada in CIO...

    ECAS status changed - "Decision Made" to "In Process"

    I suggest you should enter before your visa expires on Nov. 27, 2012. After that date, your visa will be invalid and cannot be used to enter Canada. Aren't you planning to move here and get settled?
