Just a overview of the situation. My Dad has his biometrics expiring in June, but there is a family wedding in July is there a way for him to apply and with biometrics before it expires?

What do you mean sent initial details for CRS? You can check your score online on the website. The response is immediate, for submission of an EE profile create a GC-key and from apply for EE and submit your EOI

Check your CRS score if you're eligible then submit an express entry profile make sure you have your documents ready

Did have to raise a web form as the profile had not been updated since the application was submitted, plus with the intended date of travel getting nearer it only made sense to do so. GCMS will take about 30 days or so but will do.

That is very strange indeed did you get an email update for the second message? I would suggest contacting them via the online web portal
