    Toronto Airport arrival quick question

Exactly what I thought. Just wanted some reconfirmation. Thanks a lot! I also called the airport and the customer service rep said no contact unless there's a valid reason for it. This exception could be requestes for at the Public Health Agency

    Toronto Airport arrival quick question

Hi guys, I'm asking for my buddy. His girlfriend is arriving tomorrow at Toronto Pearson Airport and then she is supposed to go to the government approved hotel for 3 days. He was wondering if he can wait for her in the airport and greet her (hugs, kisses etc) or if there is no contact allowed...

What is the best International Student Health Insurance?

Hi, Can you guys recommend a good price/performance ratio health insurance for international students? My college offers one but it can only be done via e-transfer. We don't have those transfer types in my country and I don't have anybody in Canada that can do this e-transfer. I'm looking for...

What is the difference between quarantining for 14 days and isolating for 14 days?

@studentfrompoland Nice research you did there. I can definitely understand your points. If you wanna go through with your plan I would add to make sure that you guys desinfect after every toilet use and that you will not share any common spaces in the apartment. Or go with the safe bet and...

What is the difference between quarantining for 14 days and isolating for 14 days?

In my opinion the website is not specific enough. Like @studentfrompoland said, there is too much room for interpretation. And I know you could probably save some money while being in your buddy's apartment but I'd book something else just to be on the safe side even if it costs you 300$ more...

    Mandatory 3-day hotel requirement inquiry

Dude, it even said on all those links the restrictions are from 22nd February and you're traveling on 19th February. So, how on earth can you be insecure about that? The only date that was mentioned before 22nd is the 18th. And it clearly said you can book your hotel stay FROM 18th February for...

    Mandatory 3-day hotel requirement inquiry

At least what I'm seeing on the link is just who is exempt IN GENERAL from the 14 days quarantine. It doesn't refer to the 3 day hotel quarantine. Or I got the wrong link. We'll see by Thursday who'll be exempt regarding the hotel quarantine

    Travelling after 22nd Feb.

Buddy, bookings start from 18th February for travels ON and AFTER 22nd February. You won't have to book anything, man. You just have to do your regular quarantine (14 days) and that's it.

    Mandatory 3-day hotel requirement inquiry

Well, from February 18th you can officially reserve your room at those desiganted hotels. I'm assuming the prices will vary based upon availability. Prices could range from 150 - 500$ per night.. which is a huge number, especially for students. When I went to Toronto in 2017, I booked a fancy...

Hotel quarantine measures for air travellers come into effect Feb. 22: Trudeau

Government of Canada expands restrictions to international travel by land and air - Canada.ca Official government website states: "All travellers arriving to Canada by air, as of February 22, 2021, with some exceptions, will be required to take a COVID-19 molecular test when they arrive in...

How do I defer my intake if I am already in Canada?

I'd say it depends on the border officer. At least you already have some good arguments. I'm no officer but arriving 2,5 months prior to your studies could be a little problematic. But again, I'm no officer and every case will be handled individually.
