LVO but passport request came from AVO

Received my PPUM this morning, exactly 7 days after I sent in my passport.

It's not uncommon. Seems there are no rules with CIC

Date of submission at DHL and no, they didn't but on the two occasions I've included a kind of LOE that quotes my UCI.

I have an extensive travel history and all my visa stickers are on the old passport. Also, it's not yet expired, so I guess they have to sight it.

I submitted last week Tuesday and got a letter yesterday requesting my old passport. I also missed a call from them. I know this cos I called back and got the receptionist.

How did you find out please?

Received my nomination 30 minutes ago and accepted. Thanks to all the seniors and everyone for the support and words of encouragement. OINP is definitely expediting decision making as regards NoMs. Now let me take a few minutes to enjoy a glass of wine before the next process begins. Thanks.

Decision phase email received five hours after sending in add docs. Mail came with IELTS expiry alert, so I responded with a copy of my new IELTS test report. Fingers crossed now. It's all in God's hands.
