Congratulations. I called up the helpline yesterday and they told me the passport has gone for printing the day before. Did not think it will take 2-3 days just to get printed. Since the status did not change this morning, I am assuming it will not change today. Will take a look at status again...

So, the status only changes after the passport has been printed? Not when the passport application is sent for printing? When did you apply? And how long did it take between application submission and passport printed status change?

Question pls: The current status of the passport shows that the application is being processed. Does the status change when it is sent for printing? Or is the next status that the passport has been printed?

Today, my tracker shows CLOSED with a congratulations message. Application history says oath ceremony updated on July 4. I am hoping that since they have marked it as closed today, they may have sent my citizenship certificate yesterday / today and I will receive it soon. But who knows !!! :)

Shoot !!!! So I have to keep checking my community mailbox. For all the money they take, they could have sent through Purolator. Else, just send e-certificates if money is to be saved.

When a citizenship certificate is mailed, do they use Purolator? Do they share the tracking number or email that the certificate has been shipped?

The On-Line Service shows Citizenship application as "Complete". Is it anyway related to the citizenship certificate being ready and arriving in a few days? There is no change in the main tracker.

My oath was on 30th June and I don't suppose the citizenship certificate will come soon. Is there a way to request for e certificate now?

Thank you. This is where my dilemma lies. I have 8 days in between today and the oath date. Guess I will just have to wait till tomorrow and then reach out to them.

Question: Is it usual for the tracker to be updated with oath date but email not coming along with it? How long does it usually take for the email to come after tracker update? I have been told today that my oath is on June 30, but I have plans on that day - need to change my plans after I know...
