Why not? Your statement is true if applying under the Graduate stream. I'd say if applying under the Temporary Foreign Worker stream. Work experience is work experience as long as you hold a valid temporary resident status :

I guess so! Why not? I know for the fact people do the same thing when applying under FSW class. They use the 2 years studying to get the adaptivity points and the 2 years work experience for the work experience points.

If during your master program, you also served as RA, I guess you would have 2 years full-time experience to apply under temporary worker stream!
