    "Lost" your PR card? Lol. You can't be serious. Buy a fire proof and water-proof safe. Put all your important documents (passports, PR cards, birth cert) inside, people. Not really something you want to be casually "lose".

    Flag poling counts as 0 day. You technically never left Canada as you would have received an administrative refusal from US guard denying entry.

    You can order CBSA entry report (under Privacy Act) for free that will have record of all your entry. This is what I used to count days outside of Canada. Takes a week or two to arrive in the mail. Stamps aren't reliable as they will not stamp if another officer have already recently stamped...

    You're submitting a paper application. Only month and date is displayed, and that's what the officer will see. You can enter date if you wish but it's unnecessary.
