    (spousal sponsorship) My fiancé entered Canada as a visitor, then the next month we got married. Two months later, we sent the sponsorship application package. Did the undertaking start during any of this time? They only recently got the eCoPR.

    They are not mutually exclusive. It’s actually more likely in the 21st century that people live together before getting engaged. Literally no one wrote “fiancé visa” except you. What are you even talking about?

    Have you received nothing back at all? Although we didn’t get the full AoR for six months after applying, we did still get a simple letter after about six weeks saying essentially that our “package was received”

    no, that's incorrect that's also definitely incorrect No there isn't: for the umpteenth time, there is no financial requirement for spousal sponsorship (except in QC). It says so very plainly on the government's website. Don't know where all this nonsense is coming from...
