Yes they assign the UCI number to the returned applications. Some member on forum confirmed that. His 2174 app got returned due to CAP reach.

No, it does not mean that. Even the returned application has UCI number.

Pankaj, which number did you call them up on? I have heard that CIC does not give the status on phone. Did you have UCI number?

They are no more charging 2174.Can see only a couple of charges (till June 26) after the cap is reached. And the charge for July 4th seems to be fake entry. Seems that the applicants only till June 26th are in the cap.Guys what is your opinion.

I don't think BC is mandatory. You can attach 10th standard Marks sheet having dob on it along with an affidavit explaining the same.
