Dear All, My parents are in PGP 2019 and currently in the latter stages of processing (Medical passed). This is my family income over the years: 2016-72k 2017-110k 2018-130k 2019-180k 2020-160k So when I have sponsored my parents, it was a family size of 4 (myself, wife, father, mother) and I...

New Canadian Citizen and a H1B holder crossing the border everyday

I am from Sri Lanka. But as you said I cannot hold two passports either. So should I return the I-94 from my Sri Lankan passport before I get the Canadian passport (I can return the I-94 to the Canadian border officials - For B1/B2 visa I know that people return it when they leave just before...

Hi Friends, I am a Canadian PR until now and took the citizenship exam recently. I am expecting my oath ceremony anytime now. Also, I live in Windsor and cross the border every day to work in the US on an H1B visa. My H1B has 4 more years left (renewal is in a year). My I-94 in my current...

Commuting to US for work and Canadian Citizenship applicants

I am going to be in same situation as well. I am a Canadian PR and working in US in H1-B. I will be eligible for Canadian citizenship in a month or so. But I was wondering whether I have to apply for the citizenship after I apply for green card first.

Super-visa for parents at the same time

Of course, I did. But one of the eleigibility criteria is strong ties to back home. In my parent's case, if both of them apply for Canada super-visa, they do not have enough ties back to home country except financial assets.

Super Visa - anyone applied as yet?

Hi There, I am planning to apply for super-visa for my parents who are living in my home country now. But I am not sure whether I should apply for both of them at the same time or father and mother one after the another. My parents have 4 kids and all of us are abroad now. So my concern is if I...
