Hey peeps! A quick question...if the embassy was to request another medical done, can my husband do it from UAE or does it have to be from Egypt? He's visiting his family at the moment and he won't be back to Egypt until the end of march..so is it possible?

I guess what makes this process hard is the distance! Here I am..living in Canada..loving every bit of it..yet, the fact that my husband is not here is affecting me badly..I'm depressed all the time..we argue a lot..I kinda understand where he's comin from too with his frustaration..its like...

I have a question...my husband got his medical done march 11/ 2011...does it expire from the date the medical done or the date of when I submit appendix c along with the application? He had an interview on jan 16...they asked him for a new criminal record..up til now we haven't heard anything...

Hi guys... My husband has his interview on Jan 16...he said it went all..they asked him all the questions on the book basically! However, she didn't take his passport at the end of the interview..all she asked from him at the end is to provide them with a fresh criminal record..I believe that's...

Congratulations everyone...I'm so happy for all of you <3 But now I'm wodering..why am I the only one that was asked for an interview? Is it maybe because my husband lives in Cairo ? And he doesn't have to send the passport by dhl since he lives 10 mins away from the embassy? Coz they did ask...

It was application received...its been application received since Oct 27...before that it was in process...and even after they updated the site with the interview information, it still says application received..

I applied april 14/ 2011... Got approved may 20/2011...application sent to egypt for processing june 2/ 2011... Sent back to ottawa pilot case processing centre Oct 8th/ 2011.... Called my husband for an interview Dec 23/2011...which is weird coz I got pregnant and I sent them my doctors's...

Ok did they tell u right away that u were approved? Did they take the passport and called u in a week or so and told u to come and pick it up? Or they just interviewed u and took ur passport and didn't call u back?? I wonna lnow what happened exactly plz
