I received the questionaire in January 2016 and received a reply in march 2016 and had my interview last week, aug 2016 as I was out of the country otherwise i might have had the interview faster.

No I agree with you there, but I think their way of reasoning is since I am the adult they would say make sure you have at least 730 days in Canada or deal with the consequences. Just my guess but if Canadian children would be a way to qualify for RO I would have received my new PR card...

Yes you are right my passport wasn't expired, but I am just flabbergasted that it is this difficult to renew an expired passport! I hope you are able to get it all done in time and fly to Holland! Keep pushing and calling/emailing untill some one answers and helps you!

I just called, the lady was very nice but could not give me much more information then I already had. PR card still in process, never received a 2nd review email but she said it could take up to 1 year for processing. I asked her what the difference between 2nd review and mine was, she did not...

Ok, thanks for your reply, will try to be a little more patient ;) Just been reading other people's post where they either receive an email for second review right away or receive their card, I got nothing either way but as you said I am only 69 days in of the 71 ;D
