For the document checklists you put at top of application if an item does not pertain to your situation and you will not be including it do you still put a check mark. I did not and I put n/a beside mine. Sorry hopefully not stupid question I just don't know how precise I have to be.

Is it OK to use a line of credit for some of the proof of funds if some of the line of credit is already used? So you would just state what is available.

For the proof of financial support can RRSP Statements be used for available funds? Or does all the money have to be readily available in a bank account? Also for the form 1294 when you put in Available Funds can you use your RRSP balances for that? Or again should that just be money available...

Thanks so much for your responses. I'm actually thinking of acting as a representative for a relative. And I do believe doing it by yourself is just as effective I'm had problems in the past with lawyers giving wrong info and making things worse.

Does anyone know if you use a representative can they submit the visa application for you or do you still have to apply yourself with the representative form and then after that cic communicates with the representative.
