I believe they can take as long as 60 working days to be done and sent back however most people are handing them in on a Thursday and collecting them 2 weeks later. I can't remember the times when you can do this off the top of my head i'm afraid. L and C

I couldn't of said it better myself, do it right and above board. You might get lucky and find a loophole or he could get caught and kicked out of the country and banned from getting back in, don't risk it for the short term comfort of him staying here. best of luck

Still waiting here other than hearing our local office london saying: We started processing your application on February 26, 2010. Seems pretty quiet for us though february applications are now being complete in the other thread, makes me wonder how they do it.
