Bit of news for us... My daughters got passport request yesterday!! So we will send them in on Tuesday with another letter from their mother explaining she is ok with them living with us in Canada. Hopefully Kingston won't take too long getting the visas processed, then we can go pick them up!!!!

Yes the girls revived PR at the same time, BUT we have to wait for the visa office in Kingston to request their passports and issue their visas, as far as I'm aware we have to apply for their PR cards when the reach Canada. I'm not sure the route you take if you are visa exempt.. anyone else on...

Im asking about passport request in Jamaica, when passport is requested in Jamaica do they mail it in or take it to Kingston, and how long does it take?

I think its because we are up north (Barrie), she asked if we wanted to come to the date Aug 20th in toronto, or wait till a team comes up to North bay in September, but Noth bay is too far for us, and I would rather drive to Etobicoke and take the earlier date. LOL
