Hi there! I guess I'll add myself to the list of those waiting for PR cards. Is there a spreadsheet for this too? When I landed, the officer told me I would likely get it in a month, but my mailbox has been pretty dry.
Here's my timeline:
Landed at Pearson: Oct. 28, 2014
Application for PR...
You always have sound advice! :D Thanks! Yeah, I thought that sounded a bit weird when my husband relayed her message. So when you land they staple your COPR in your passport? Good to know! :)
Whoops, maybe I worded that awkwardly. She said I could land anytime with my COPR, but once I'm here, I'll have to sit tight and wait in Canada for my PR card to arrive. Then I can travel freely in and out.
Hi! So I just received my copr today and my husband and I are trying to determine when the best time for me to land would be. I'm currently in Toronto so we were ready to leave this evening to go across the border; however, our lawyer's assistant informed us that I shouldn't leave Canada once I...
Thank you rhcohen! I have a feeling it'll get sent to my lawyer's office based in Toronto, so I'll alert them and let them know to keep an eye out. :) Hopefully we get news by sometime next week then.
Just an update:
Finally I have a DECISION MADE! It didn't even go to "In Process" first. Also, we never got a PPR. Is this all normal? Should I be concerned? Also, anyone know how long it usually takes for the letters to arrive once it goes to DM?
Just an update:
I did my morning ecas check and finally we have a DECISION MADE!
It never went to In Process even. Also, we never got a PPR. Is this all normal? Should I be concerned? I don't want to do a happy dance just yet until I get the physical paper saying "Welcome!"
Oh my! I'm so sorry to hear this! I was actually just thinking about you this morning and wondering if you had heard anything. How did you find this all out? Did you call them? Or was it in a letter? Hopefully you'll get news before April! I'm still waiting on news too. No updates on my end.
