well chuffed. His last work visa (prior to this) came through with England on it as well. ::)

Its worth noting that my spouse, who was born in Wales and is Welsh was listed as English under the CIC website and the only way I was able to log in for him was to put "England" as his country of birth every time I logged in. Despite his birth certificate, passport etc all saying Wales.

In our case (transferred to Mississauga, not London) photos were requested the day the file went to DM. They only requested two additional photos. I believe the photos were requested because my spouse was bearded when his original photos were sent, and beardless when his medical was completed...

I had no "proof" of first contact with my spouse either. We met by chance, and explained this. He moved to a different city two days later, which I thought might cause some eyebrows to be raised, but it didn't.

It really does depend. I have two photos of my spouse by himself. One at the continental divide in Arizona, and another showing him and my mother together at Christmas time. The first showed our trip to the US, and the second showed him meeting/spending time with my family

I would then apply outland (sooner than later) as you will likely have a decision made before August of next year from what I've seen on the Sydney office. (I see they are showing 11 months on CIC so its entirely possible) You can have an outland application in process while working in Canada...

calling once a week will not expedite the process. While you may not agree, I would hang tight. Check your junk mail folders and be patient. It took just about a month and a half to receive SA after AOR.

If you are worried about your interview being delayed pay the fee. If you cannot afford the fee, borrow the money from friends/family to get it paid. It sounds like it would be a short term loan anyhow. Only CIC can tell you if your interview will be delayed for not paying RPRF upfront. Even...

Is there any reason the immigration consultant would need a copy of the PR card front and back? They have requested a copy from my spouse, and I find it a little odd.. Claim they need it to complete the file.

landed the end of may, received PR about two weeks ago. I believe it was 98 days total.
