    yeah tell them what they need to know without lying, if you checked the immigration booklets and you're sure he's admissible and all your papers are in order, you don't need to tell them too much, but don't hold back on the truth.

    notify it immediately. They always want you to keep them updated with family constitution and contact (addresses and phone numbers) information. An email to the embassy processing your application is good enough

    @MissyIffy, 1) yes, separate lists 2) no proof of funds required for spouses, that's only for work class

    yeah, we received our "immigration consulting" from our doctor (the guy who did my medicals) and he said the single most important thing you must never ever ever ever do in an immigration application is lie. Because <as he put it> "... if he's lying about this one thing, could he be lying about...
