Received my Canadian passport today. It took 1 week to process :) I guess this is now the end of the road for me. I have waited 13 years for this day. Good luck to everyone on their journey to becoming a Canadian!

I had a guarantor sign the passport application form, back of 1 photo and the copies of my 2 forms of ID.

I just finished my Canadian Passport application. I will receive my passport in the mail in 10 business days. I went to an actual passport office and not Service Canada. They scanned the bar code on my citizenship certificate and gave the original back to me.

Yesterday I became a proud Canadian Citizen. Ceremony was well organized with 105 applicants becoming Canadian Citizens. I have waited 13 years for this big day. Next step is to apply for my Canadian passport on Friday :) Good luck everyone!

Thank you! My ECAS said that a letter was sent out yesterday so I am waiting for the letter to arrive. I did not get any email notifications.

Checked ECAS this morning and it shows Oath date June 5th :). Waiting for letter in the mail.
