CIC is driving people nuts! I did some analysis and found that RQ comes actually quickly. Processing starts, in 3 months no RQ, you are good. Test, in 2 months, no RQ, you are good. Try to focus on your life, and let it be whenever it will be.

With CIC, it's always a waiting game. Take it easy, and live your life normal.

haha, the worries I have now are on the camping trips and portage trips. Everything goes so quickly, the park booking is full all the way to September! Seriously, get out enjoy the precious time in Canada.

This is about right. I know police background check is mostly 3 - 4 months in this country. If there is any foul play, it can easily stretch to a few years. To analyse the situation from the game theory perspective, the government has no incentive to speed up the process. Actually the...
