Hi Armando, you have asked this same question many times. CIC will let you know if the state certificates are needed.

Validating your documents will create a bar code that allows immigration officers to process your documents quicker. It is highly recommended (if not mandatory) that you validate them.

My very personal opinion is that you won't have any problem since you were already a PR when your now wife submitted her application. There would be a problem if you did not have the PR at the time, because that would mean that CIC has to evaluate your admissibility, education, background, etc...
