My husband and i got separated last year in August. He moved to Winnipeg and lost touch. I know there is a form that needed to be filled out for marital status change for taxation but both parties has to sign it. Can i still file my tax as " separated" this year? Thank you all.

Someone told me earlier today that live im caregiver cant apply for permanent residence anymore? Is that true? I know there is a new rule with regards to workers..

@eimo they said that they mailed the letter around June 16... but i havent received that letter yet.. i called cic this morning to confirm the date of my interview and they told me all the info i need. when is your interview? mine is on JUly 11.. next week,,

nov 2009- pr sent. january 2010- started processing june 2010- got my owp ausgut 2010- hubby's medical April 2011- i requested for an immigration receipt so i can pay the PR.. i did not wait for them to send me one.. June 2011- PR approved..

HI GUYS!! im so happy that my PR got approved yesterday.. and they told me that i need to go for an interview on JULY 11.. so i just want to ask you guys what will be the possible questions in that interview.. im under the lcg, and i have a husbnd sponsoring back home.. thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GUYS, I SENT MY APPLICATION FOR PR UNDER LCG WITHOUT CRIMINAL CHECK HERE IN CANADA BECAUSE THATS WHAT THE CALL CENTER AGENT SAID... THEY ONLY NEED THE ONE FROM MY COUNTRY..thats what i did.. i sent it NOVEMBER 2009.. and another lcg told me that she got a letter saying she needs to submit...

no not yet.. i called them this mrning and told me that theres one more thing they need to do with my application, and thats the backgorund check they said... im married.. in your cic application status on the website, did they updated it and wrote that they sent you the letter for interview...

i actually did not wait for any letter,, i just went ahead and pay for the landing fee..

nov 2009 sent my application for PR and OWP January 2010- opened by cic June 2010- OWP RECEIVED.. HUBBY DID HIS MEDICAL AUGUST 2010 mARCH 2011- THEY ASKED FOR HIS PASSPORT TO ISSUE HIS VISA BUT SINCE I PAID MY LANDING FEE LAST MONTH, THERES NO REPLY YET..

im a lcg, i just paid my right of permanent residence fee.. my question is how long will it take to get my PR finalized? and second question is, if i change my address, is it necessary for my dependent(husband in the PHilippines) to change his address too? thank you somuch..
