I think your family will be fine cos you being the primary applicant is well settled. And I will suggest wife should visit once in a while.

Shaafqatz, how long did you stay away from Canada for?

Meaning it all depends on the immigration officer to determine if you have enough social ties in Canada even if you satisfy the 2/5 year rule. Folks I think we need to educate our friends on this. On the other hand, I guess my idea of staying away for a year in a row won't pose any problems...

Any varied ideas?
