Yeah I’m disappointed because in all my time in Canada I’ve always followed ALL the IRCC rules when I was with both study and work permit, I’ve always paid my taxes, I don’t have any criminal record and now they still have to verify stuff after my LPP is completed?! Thank you for the support...

Me too :( This wasn’t the response I expected and that makes me sad. Going forward I will check the tracker only weekly and try not to stress too much about it.

I just heard back from the MP office “I spoke to IRCC regarding your citizenship applications. The advised that they are conducting additional verifications at this time, hence the delay.” This confirms LPP completed doesn’t really mean anything. I guess there’s nothing else left for me to do...

Congratulations @jananicmouli & @Monark20 ! I am glad to see at least some movement from MIS office. Did you have any GU before oath scheduling? Did you receive the email this morning?

Me too. I will wait to hear from my MP, but then I’m done checking/calling and will do my things (travelling etc). Newer applications are processed within 3 months, and we are here waiting with no idea why.

I’m honestly at a loss of words.

I actually called the MP office first to see if they could help and then followed up with an email. I explained to them that I’m a July 2023 applicant and I haven’t heard any news at all since November 29th when my LPP was marked completed. I gave all my info (UCI, application #, date of birth)...

Seems like many people got a GU last week and this week. I hope it’s good news for all of you!

I’m batch November 2023 LOL It’s just random. Some applications get lost for some unknown reason and are there at IRCC collecting dust. I spoke with an IRCC agent and they said they would send a follow up to the office as I’m well over the 8 months, but again that didn’t help. It’s been a week...

Same timeline - my LPP was completed on November 27th and also my GCMS notes show E-Grant. No updates for 5 long months. I hope it will be our turn for oath soon.
