Sorry for the late reply, I'm not sure as if you apply from outside of Canada....your guarantor must come from a specific list of occupations.

If someone actually knows the answer to this....then they should put a ticket on the lottery! This isn't really a legitimate question given that your invitation could arrive on any day at any time....the god's may be shining on you and your application is put to the top of the pile or maybe...

I wasn't aware you could apply online so my application was done in paper form.

I've done this myself and applied from the UK....zero issues. Make sure forms all completed as per the norm, guarantor signatures obtained and that's it. I applied for mine just when lockdown was coming to an end so there was a 10 week wait.

In a nutshell when returning back to Canada you need to show your Canadian Passport.....except I believe if from US.

My question is can the child's PR be applied from outside of Canada, the child lands and then Citizenship proceedings can be commenced or started?

First of all why have you waited a month to contact IRCC......secondly email back now telling them what happened, don't WAIT for a reply here from someone to back u up just reply now. What technical fault or reason did you have?
