I have submitted my application in June to Buffalo. However, the application status in the CIC website still shows the old one - submitted to Nova scotic, review completed etc... Any idea if they would update the status as received docs in Buffalo etc... how soon would they update the status or...

I have recently submitted so haven't heard back from them yet. But, my attorney feels that is sufficient.

The best way is to send the form and passport to the Indian counslate NY. All the information is available in their website, you just have to follow all the instructions carefully. I did the same and received the PCC within the time mentioned. They do a great job and I found applying by mail...

I am not sure how to get notarization on some of the photo copies of certificates required like I-797/I20. I am residing in US.
