This! They are simply not working on older files. My file was stuck at CPC Sydney for 17 months before being transferred to LVO. Ordered notes multiple times and all indicated the file was not being worked on all this time. I still have not had any response back from LVO since the past 10 weeks...

Sponsor approval on 27 July, 2021 which stated that application was being transferred to visa office but I have not had any updates from the visa office.

I wonder if it is an administrative issue or something else since most people get their medical request with biometrics and SA.

We received our sponsor approval after 17 months and our application was submitted on March 2, 2020. Order GCMS notes and reach out to your MP. NOTHING helped us and we got our sponsor approval randomly when we were least expecting it. Hang in there.

Application was submitted on March 2, 2020. It was probably due to COVID but at that time people kept saying that the delay was too long for it to be just due to COVID and we kept panicking. The pandemic has not ended and there is still a huge backlog. Delays are still expected.

Yes, Same situation except march 2020 applicant. My GCMS notes also said a social assistance check is being done despite it never been taken by my sponsor.

I had a similar note on my GCMS notes. We requested our MP to contact IRCC regarding the medical since we never received a medical request but IRCC said they don't require a medical right now and will let us know when they do.
