Yes, I carried it in my carry on luggage just in case. Never showed and never had to take it out anywhere throughout the trip.

Did this recently. I put No for that question. Everything was smooth while going to India and coming back. I haven't surrendered my passport yet.

hi @harirajmohan , after received the passport in the US, what steps do we need to take if we are currently on H1/H4 visa in the US? Do we need to explicitly go to a CBP office at an airport and get a new I-94? How many days do we have once we receive the new passport?

Hello, anyone mailed application from the U.S recently? How many days after CC charged can we expect the certificate to be mailed back? Once that is done, can we expect the passport to be approved in a few days?

hi @Prabjot , did you had to update I-9 at the employer after getting Canadian passport? I don't want to disclose newly obtained Canadian passport to the employer/immigration team if not needed - that should be fine, correct?

Thanks @harirajmohan , it would be of great help if you could find out something else - Did he had to update USCIS after getting Canadian citizenship? Because of a pending application with USCIS in which the country of citizenship details would change in this case. This will be of great help...
