Thanks 7, really appreciate it! In my case I appear to be one of the examples where the VO has extended the validity of the medical by a year, April 2013 was my original and only medical. Seems quite common now for applications where the medical expiry is close to the visa issue date.

Thanks everyone! I can't stop smiling. :D Visa is dated as issued on the 17th April, ECAS changed to Decision Made on the 20th, COPR arrived today (25th).

Pleased to update that I my ECAS status has today changed to Decision Made. :o Can't quite believe it has finally happened! Will be a nervous wait now for the confirmation of good or bad news in the post.
