After those questions, you will be asked to send your passport and the required documents only. There is nothing in the main application to determine your eligibility for the interview...

    Got my B1/B2 visa via interview waiver. thanks @smap.windy my experience are similar just that mine is b1/B2 and was not first issued in Canada. I did not request for premium processing but it was issued 2 weeks after they opened my application.

    No. It was family visit. But in the invitation letter, I did specify my wife qualify for covid 19 exemption.

    No changes were made to the documents. My wife updated same documents including invite, bank statements and travel plans. Her original travel dates were in October. But I think if your travel dates have passed and or documents are outdated like 3 months or more, it may be better to submit...

    US B-1 Visa with an approved I-140 for a Canadian PR

    Applied on 30 August. Had previous B1/B2 visa that expired in February 2021. Got the interview waiver when scheduling. Posted passports and required documents on 31 August Status reads Application received on 09 September No change yet. Hopefully they issue the visa soon.
