Is biometrics one of the requirements in citizenship.? i read that those who have never given , because prior to 2019 this was not needed, then now we get an Biometric instruction letter.. Anyone knows if this is mandatory now for us if not given previously?

What I have read on ircc website is that biometric and rcmp fingerprint both are different things. While processing the citizenship application they asked for the rcmp fingerprint for Canadian criminality records check. Not necessarily everyone should get it’s randomly.

My application was returned stating - identify document missing for the client though I added more than required. My and my spouse's application is completed but was returned with the package.

Now my question is, do I need to resubmit all the forms along with photocopies for all applicants or just the identity document for my son and resend his package along with ours (which is marked as review completed)?

For those of you that applied with a minor kid, did you guys receive the AOR attachment for them?
The reason I ask is because for my 3.5 year old son the AOR email did not have any attachment, however luckily they provided the application number in the body of the email, so I can use that to track his status, however was curious if the same is true with everyone else

what id’s did u submit? im kind of nervous in mine now. my passport expired and ddnt renew it so i only submitted a driver’s license and some ID’s from my previous country

Mine was the same. submitted in Sep 2021 but returned. we add PR card as a ID card which was not considered as a ID. so returned everything by adding drivers license and medical card. got AOR on march 1st.

as long as you didnt attach PR card, you are good.
