Hi
i received an email in december 2019 that my file transferred to London Visa office.
My one year is complete in may.
they have not asked for further information or documents and I have not heard back.
what does this mean?
People posted many times here that LVO is closed at this time.

please note visitor visa applications r suspended from april 29 till may 19 n now is not a good time to apply for trv as chances of approval will be less...My husband got trv approval last year n i also sponsored him last year n applied for visit visa after he is in canada now..his PR application is still in process
If I am not wrong,Trv is still open with Essential travel only, not for tourism or entertainment

Can anyone suggest that during in this pandemic, is it possible to apply for visit visa of husband due to the wife's pregnancy? I believe it's an essential reason with a strong letter from doctor.
Please suggest.
Regards!
Dealing with the same situation right now... and our one year timeline ends on June 3... I don't know if I should apply for TRV or not .... let me know if you get any updates... I have no family here and was expecting my husband to come by June but it seems that won't be happening for now with current situation... I hope everything works out fine .... stay strong!! <3

AOA, I applied last Sep 2019 for my wife and dependent daughter , medical passed on 1st Jan 2020. Still waiting for AOR2 . My two minor Children who are Canadian Citizen are with my wife , Children cant travel with mother (my wife I sponsored). I don't know how much time more it may take in current circumstances . Do you advise me to apply for TRV as their travel is essential for family reunion in COVID-19 . Kindly advise. Thanks a lot .

Hello everyone.. My sponsorship application is isn process from sep2019. In feb I received an email for biometric and after that no response. I am just missing my wife and she cannot travel to Pakistan this time because of some issues. I wanted to apply for a visitor visa to see her and want to spend some time with her. The only reason I want to meet her is I am missing her badly.. is it enough reason to apply for visitor visa and what are the chances that I can get a visa?
Your suggestion will be appreciated
Thanks

Hey Buddy, we all feel your feelings, everybody here loves their wives. You cannot apply for visit visa till may 18 unless it is extended.
Once the visit visa opens up, you need to prove that your wife will return to Pakistan within the 6 months of entering Canada. To prove, you would need to have property on her name, bank statement, or a letter from the employer saying she would go back to Pakistan to continue her job. I have seen most people booking a return ticket aswell.
Basically you need to show that she would exit Canada within 6 months.
Mostly people get rejected by saying your spouse doesnt have good ties with Pakistan. Un ko lagta hai hum wapis ni jai gy, or hum log jaty b ni hai.
Mai b Dec 2019 ka applicant ho, InshaAllah mai b apply karo ga visit visa. Lekin mujy lagta hai boht kam chances ho gy. Q k corona ki waja sy na kam acceptance ho gi. Baqi yar Allah behtar kary ga.

Hi,

do you know if they would start working back on application after May 18 i.e. visitor or sponsorship application ?

I used this reason that we didn't get to go on honeymoon n would like my husband to visit Canada for 2 weeks so we could spend time together this in sep 2019 we applied for his visit visa online through gckey n husband was approved in 5 weeks for one year multiple entry visit visa n his spousal application is still in process since may 2019...we had to show a lot of proof though and we attached these docs:

Job verification letter from husband work, his property he owns from Pk, His travel history, he has lived in UK for over 5 years so that helped the most
Job verification letter from my work, my chequing and savings account from last 3 months with savings of 15,000$, detailed invitation letter, Eternity day to day plan for his 2 weeks stay (what we will do and places we will visit in my city)

We didn't book a return ticket or ticket reservation, Just took screenshots from Expedia of his travel dates and same thing for hotel booking we used screenshots and didn't reserve any bookings.

Now due to covid-19 not sure if cic will consider visiting spouse an essential reason so it might be hard to get visit visa but u can try I didn't think we will get approved but we did
