Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

I am dealing with same issue, i sponsored my wife so wrote her name under Question Number 9.

Now Question 11 is asking for name again. ( I spoke to agent this morning and he explained that I have to write name in Question 11 as she is not cosigning regardless of I have written her name in question 9.)

I discussed with one of my friend, and during discussions I realized that when I applied the PR for myself and wife, I was primary applicant and my spouse as dep but no where I took the sponsorship....if that is the case then I shouldn't put any number in that section.

Any thoughts on my second query?

I just called IRCC and they confirmed they have received my application. They said I do not see any status (ecas) etc because they have not yet validated whether my application is COMPLETE. So all those who see ecas are safe in terms of completeness of application and the rest of us with "temporary" file numbers are still under validation it seems which is bit worrying

Interesting related to "Complete". I can see my application on eCAS as received, but when I asked agents whether it is complete or no, they said, it is just received nothing was checked yet.

Yeah but if you want then you can send blank form and write not Applicable at top and in explanation letter you can mention that form is not required. That's what I have done. But I know some members didn't send form at all and I think it is fine as well. But if you want to check then you can call IRCC

If your wife was just a dependent in your PR application then it won't be considered as sponsorship. In that case you should put 1 in Q#5 and wofe details in Q#11. Your wife is sponsored only if you apply for her PR after becoming PR / citizen.

Hi Friends,

Don't worry and don't panic for ECASE issue, I sent my package on April 30th and IRCC received that by May2nd. ( according to Canada Post signature ). Still nothing on ECASE either with my UCI and my parents .
I was worried as a lot of message referring to ECASE issues. Today I called IRCC agent and have a comprehensive discussion with her regarding this matter.
first of all she mentioned that they received a thousand of calls regarding this issue and she was just wondering why we are so worried abt that.
She was very nice and tried to look up the application with my UCI .
She confirmed that IRCC received the application on May 2nd.
She gave me temporary file number.
she told me temporary file number means they just opened the envelope and take the document and nothing else.
she told me it may take up to 3 month to AOR .
and you will get ECASE updated when you receive the AOR .
So lets hope for the best and don't worry.
there is thousand of application arrived and as she told me even the opening of thousands of envelope may take month for them.
so just be patient and don't worry.

Guys I know we are all excited to get our AORs and see our applications in process, but please dnt expect anything before end of June.
Lets try to help other guys to finish their applications, and hope for the best.

I'm single and just sponsoring my 1 parent.

I don't exactly remember what I have put in the family unit in the Interest to Sponsor form.

Can anyone advise any solution for this?
