I received Ontario nomination points and ITA on the same day May 23rd. So I went with ITA.
ITA - may 23
AOR - June 3
IP1 - Jun 15

Hello ppl,

To all waiting for movement on their file, specially all who haven’t had any updates since Aor/medical pass/ adr and this is from 1st/2nd week of June, i feel it may take us all upto end of Oct/ early Nov to cross the line. Let’s keep the positivity going, there is hardly anything we can do other than waiting.

On a separate note, pls can someone clarify, ppl from countries who gets Copr directly, how much time CIC allows you to enter Canada. What if the medicals are expiring shortly? Pls can someone clarify?

Congrats to all who have been lucky enough to come to an end to this draining process and best wishes for future.

Seniors/experts - can someone clarify, ppl from countries who get COPR directly, is it only a year from the medical pass to ? Or is it year from the medical taken? What if the medicals are expiring shortly? Pls can someone clarify regarding timescale for landing requirements.

Finally was able to speak to an agent again today after September 4. Disappointing updates - the last time my application was worked on/ most recent notes is from July! No activity since September 4. Eligibility is recommended pass, background check hasnt started yet. Asked about RPRF - he said the request can be sent by the officer at any point in the application and if I want I can pay it even before the request comes. Anyone has any idea how?

Hey @shishirkona did you eventually pay it before getting the request letter? I am considering doing this.

The date on COPR will be 6 months before your passport expires or before the medicals expire. I read someone got a COPR date medical expiry + 1 week. So usually we should be inside Canada before the medicals expire as passports might most probably be valid for much linger time!

Regarding ADR
I had applied as a Visitor to extend my stay in Canada after expiry of my work permit. It was approved.
However, I by mistake in one of the question
"Do you have any physical or mental disorder that would require social and/or health services other than medication, during a stay in Canada?"
I answered : "Yes".
So they are asking for explanation letter why did I answered "Yes" for that question.

I am planing of getting "Health certificate" from my Family Doctor.
What else should I be doing , I have 7 days.

Please help..

I guess getting a letter/certificate from the registered panel doctors might be better and you would need to provide a detailed signed LoE explaining you selected "Yes" by mistake. I am not sure; but others can help as well.

I have the exact same timeline, including the ITA, AOR and MEP. However, my status is still IP1. Hope it changes soon.

How were you able to get the visa office? I have email 3 times using info from the forum but got an automated message and never received any replies from them. And even if I get the visa office, how does it help me getting to know where the delay is?
