I withdrew my profile and created a new one on Thursday of last week.

My profile was originally created at the beginning of November, so, a little old.

I am hoping I made the right gamble, but, who even knows how the OINP system works.

The whole process of applying with a constantly crashing website ( assuming their issues of last year have not been resolved ) fills me with dread, given that I have a day job and can't really sit there all day hitting refresh.

I have prepared all my documents just in case.

Good luck to all.
Thanks, I created mine on 24th of December
Is there any negative aspect in deleting and recreating a profile at all?

Hello Everyone !!

I am new to this forum.I have submitted express entry profile on 10th January,2018 and my current CRS is 432(IELTS L-8.5,S-7,W-7,R-7).However I am not sure if I have to retake IELTS,even If I get all 9s (i.e L-9,W-9,R-9,S-9) my CRS score would go upto 441.Looks like there are many ppl who are at CRS 432 and waiting for a while. So,can you guys please suggest if I have to wait for sometime for ITA?

Any help is appreciated !!

you might wait cause it shall not take more than 2 months at max for the cutoff to slide to the 432 mark. PNP is a long route and moreover NOI is not guaranteed. You can retake ielts but improving writing or speaking from 7 to 7.5 is a daunting task so more or less you need good preparation before you sit for your exam & by the time your results come out you might be through already with direct ITA.

This thread has quickly become a thread for OINP. I guess folks who have no interest in PNP should go open another thread for direct ITA expectants

I had to skip 8 pages, all because the discussed was focused on OINP.
What part of "Ray of hope" reads "Direct ITA aspirants only"? Also, the people awaiting NOIs need hope more than the people sitting on CRS scores that will eventually get an ITA.

Any predictions/educated guess for the likely 24 Jan draw?

Not received by official IELTS score yet. Just wondering if I can update IELTS score based on provisional score from the ielts website (If there is a difference later on the official scoresheet then I am screwed). Not sure if I will receive them before 24 January draw. With an update, CRS will be 441. Without update, i currently stand at 384. If 441 will anyways not get me an ITA then I can cool my heels. Any thoughts.
I would suggest you to just relax until you get your Test Report Form (TRF). It is rare (at least I have not heard a single incident) that the online scores are different from the TRF scores. What are more problematic are the TRF number and test result date.

You will need the TRF number and results date to be entered into your EE profile. TRF numbers can be guessed but, somebody pointed out that it is not always straightforward. However, it worked in my case.

While TRF number is predictable, test result date is not (It is not the 13th day after the test, but the date that will be printed on your TRF which may or may not be the actual result date printed). So, in my opinion, you have no choice here than being patient and awaiting your turn.

Hi Experts

Need your advise on the matter of Police Certificate. Following is my travel history in Pakistan and Dubai:

Birth to Sep 2010 : Lahore, Pakistan
Sep 2010 to June 2014: Islamabad, Pakistan (Went for my Bachelors for 4 years with frequent visits to home in Lahore)
June 2014 to Dec 2014: Lahore (Stayed at home for 7 month looking for Job)
Dec 2014 to March 2015: Islamabad (Found job in Islamabad and moved)
March 2015 to April 2015: Lahore
April 2015 to August 2016: Dubai, UAE (Moved to Dubai for work and visited Lahore, Pakistan twice for two weeks each time in December 2015 and March 2015).

Please suggest me how my Pakistani PCC certificates should be as they mention dates and addresses.
Should there be multiple police certificates covering both cities Lahore and Islamabad, or just one?
I am confused as I have been moving around the two cities.
Also please suggest if I need a police certificate for my two week visits to Lahore after moving to Dubai?

Much appreciated

Regards

Hello all,

A friend is a physiotherapist and we are wondering which ECA institution to use for his evaluation. I believe his BSc + 1 year clinical shd be evaluated as a professional qualification. Is IQAS the best for this type of evaluation?

Another concern with IQAS is the timeline for processing - 12weeks averagely

That is the most recent update on the OINP website with regard to profile age. I think something else to back up the fact that recreating profiles helps is that most of the people that I know received NOIs on this forum, recreated their profile.

@sundar17feb99 @trumprefugee @iamxty - thoughts?
Yes, I got NOI on the same day that I re-created my one month old profile.

I haven’t read the OINP update page recently and only heard the news from my husband last night that OINP has already re-opened for all streams but it was not mentioned there that newer profiles will receive NOIs. It could be that they have already fixed that bug in their system.

During our time, OINP has been actively sending out NOIs and it was posted on the website to re-create profiles to receive NOIs.

Thanks, I created mine on 24th of December

Last year, there was really no impact. However, with the tie-breaking rule in the EE draw, you may not be able to receive ITA if your CRS is exactly the cut-off for that particular draw.

There was someone here whose CRS is 446 (the cut-off for the last draw) but didn’t receive the ITA since he only created his EE profile in December and the tie-breaking rule date is 18-Nov. Also take note, the time a profile is created also plays a role in that tie-breaking rule.

I'm a follower of these "Ray of Hope" threads even before I made my EE. I do however think, for me there's no ray of hope when you consider Direct ITA. I mean, the way things are going, even people with 430 are running scared and then there's me at 410.
The last draw definitely made people jittery but its too early to make hasty conclusions.

Wait for a couple or more draws to be able to establish a trend.

If immigrating to Canada is plan A,it might be time to think of contingency plans. Or find other ways to make your plan A come true.

Best of luck to everyone!

This is from the OINP website:

"Prospective applicants to the HCP Stream are encouraged to create a new profile in the Express Entry system to make it easier for Ontario to identify their profile during its search in the federal government’s Express Entry pool. Please note that if you create a new Express Entry profile, you must delete your old profile."

I cannot find this statement..
Could somebody help me locating it

Hello,

Another 60 hours to go before we see the inevitable 82nd Draw. Even if we assume the ITA numbers to be around 2750, the CRS wont go below 440 most probably, hence another week of agony for the people waiting in the 430's. With consecutive IELTS results coming out in February the number of people entering into the pool with high marks will be very high compared to the last two months so the only way we can flush out the high traffic waiting above 440 & also late 430's ll have to be through at least one back to back draws considering the ita will be constant at 2750. This will really help the 420s prospects to have some chance to receive their ITA in the latter part of the year. Really hope things will again give us the believe that we will have better days in ahead weeks. Lets pray everyone for at least 2 more draws in the month of January. Lets keep the hope alive with the anticipation of better dreams of ending up in our new home, Canada.

432 is near to the recent cut-off's. yet, I wouldn't suggest you to wait. If it takes more time, then you may loose 5 points after your birthday. If you are not worried about little extra expenses in your immigration budget, you shall go for a PNP. If you get nomination and the cut-off falls to your score, please don't curse me. No factual information can be derived on the future cut-off scores.
Surely will not curse :) I understand nothing can be predicted .You rightly mentioned about age I am 29 now and will turn 30 in August 2018.Thanks for taking time and giving valuable suggestion !!

Everything is depending on the next 2 draws, CIC has been super slow since the last 1 month so the only ray of hope would be a back to back draw within January. Also, 2750 is going to be a reason many will might get demotivated but we can never give up our hope. Things should get better soon enough & a decreasing cutoff is just a matter of time.
