But when I look at the total ITA of 2017, I sometimes feel like they really want?. Because total ITA issued till date around 75k. After June they are conducting draw at around 20days. The number of ITA per draw around 3k only.
I am little bit confuse about their plan

ITAs are for the economic immigrants, which are around 132,000. ITAs can bring in 1 person or an entire family. 75K ITAs is probably roughly the right number for around 132,000 people.

The URL is misleading. The article tells both the positive and negative points about increasing immigration above the current 300,000 level. No where does it state that the number will be increasing. It's still an interesting read. But not a wholehearted endorsement of an increase.

Like everyone else, I'm hoping for good news with the 2018 quota announcement. I just feel better if I'm doing everything I possibly can to increase our score, just in case. But if I become a PR, tuition will drop by at least 1/3! So the sooner, the better.

Morning everyone! We finally bit the bullet. My wife and I recently took our IELTS and the points will be updated before the next draw. I'm hoping for atleast a 12 point jump! taking us to 444 . All the best everyone.... To all the naysayers, I am confident the points will drop to below 400 this year. But if you have any chance to improve your score please do not wait! Good luck

Same thing I want to convey. They want more migrants but at same time what if they want to keep CRS above a certain level. ??
They are giving pr but at same time they are also keeping the score at around 430-450.
I not an expert and may be far far far away to the word expert for this topic. So it may happen that I am completely wrong. And I also hope that my feelings are wrong.

It’s always best to do whatever you can to increase a chance of getting invited, no effort will go to waste! As I said before, I wish you good luck and decrease in scholarship soon!

The article was about What Should be intake according to a case study, Yes, i agree the url is shortened to add 'taking' which is misleading and but i overlooked and shared as it is ,But my idea was to share attention on the report that was cited

couldnt find the page,But long story short-

300000 Total target immigrants
if EE main driver of getting immigrants then atleast 50% contribution)
150000 immigrants
assuming 2 landing per ITA
75000
mitigating unsuccessful ITAs
75000X1.2=90000 approx ITAs from Nov 2016-Oct2017

Recently, I worked in Harrisburg, PA. I go to NYC around once a month. I had heard Toronto compared to NYC. But I think it is nicer.
