I received a bunch of messages in my inbox, can you please resend it again so that it is on the top of my inbox and I will get back to you by sunday night.
You can definitely change your spouse's status from non-accompanying to accompanying. However, it will affect your CRS score as spouse's education and language skills are added. So if that does not affect your CRS you can go ahead and change it, but you will need to justify it in the LoE.Hi Buddy,
Need some help from you regarding the application process. In EE profile, I have mentioned that my wife won't be accompanying me to Canada. I received ITA, however, now the situations have changed and she is ready to come along with me. Can I change these details now and send the documents accordingly? First of all, Am I entitled to change the souse accompany status after receiving ITA?
In both the cases, I have CRS score more than the cutoff. Kindly revert at the earliest possible, thanks for your time
The rules governing the PCC are:Hi,
I will be leaving my country of residence in a while. I am planning to obtain a PCC maybe a week or a few days prior to my departure.
Can I use this PCC for an EE application?
Security is the last stage of the application process, usually after the eligibility is done. the Security or the BGC is done at the LVO. If the security status shows not started, look for any retracted information in your notes, it will have s15/16 on the top right of that page.Dear Legalfalcon,
My GCMS notes generated on 25 August show the following status:
A11.2. FSW Eligibility by Agent - MET
Program Assistant Review: Recommend - Pass
R10 - Okay
Criminality - Passed
Medicals Passed
'Security- Not started'
On a separate notes I saw something as the following: Admissibilities: Security. Created Date: 10.05.17.... Due Date: 9.06.17.... Updated By: WBM... Status: Not Started
My file is currently waiting at a visa office for a final review. I am 186 days from AoR.
Why does the security status show 'not started' at this stage?
Will this cause any delay?
IRCC does not have a specific email. It depends on your VO, or you can raise a CSE.What is the email address to contact IRCC?
Hi,The rules governing the PCC are:
When you say you will be leaving, I am not sure what you mean by that.
- For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than six months before the submission of the e-APR.
- For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant lived in that country.
Check with other forum members who have obtained a PCC from Dubai. If you cannot get a PCC, you can explain it in LoE and submit the application. But, I have read applicants successfully obtain Dubai PCC online.Hi @legalfalcon One question: I need to get a Dubai PCC. I stayed in Dubai for 6 and a half months between 2005-2007 (ten years ago).
I went on a visit visa. I spoke with the UAE embassy and they said that they don't issue a PCC on visit visas. My first application for EE was rejected as I did not have a Dubai PCC. This is my second ITA with a deadline in December.
What should I do about the PCC? Please help!
You only have to declare your education from where you obtained your degree. You will have to put your duration of education in the personal history.Hi @legalfalcon,
I was hoping you could help me out with this question.
I completed my first 2 years of undergraduate studies at one school.
Afterwards, I transferred to another university and got my diploma from there.
In my ECA application with World Education Services, I only send transcripts from the second university from which I got my diploma.
I didn't send transcripts from my first school from which I transfer.
My questions is: where should I mention my education at the first school?
If I put it in Education Section and answer "No, I didn't not get ECA for it", will it cause my profile to be ineligible for the EE program.
If I don't put it in Education Section, can I put it somewhere else?
Thank you!
If you are heading back to your home country and you have not yet filed your application, then the country where you work will no longer be your country of residence if you file your application when you are in your home country. The rule regulating PCC is :Hi,
By leaving I meant, I will be leaving my job and going back to my home country. My PR is in progress and I was wondering, if just in case my application is rejected for some reason, obtaining PCC outside of where I reside is a hassle. Can I get before I leave this country? in anticipation for a next e APR ( god forbid)?
Thanks for the reply @legalfalconYou can definitely change your spouse's status from non-accompanying to accompanying. However, it will affect your CRS score as spouse's education and language skills are added. So if that does not affect your CRS you can go ahead and change it, but you will need to justify it in the LoE.
As per IRCC:
An applicant’s CRS score is automatically recorded in GCMS at the time when
At the time of the e-APR, processing officers should compare both CRS scores to determine which of the following scenarios should be applied:
- their ITA is issued; and
- their e-APR is submitted.
- If the applicant’s CRS score at the time of the e-APR is equal to or higher than the lowest-ranked score in the round of invitations, the application will not be refused under section A11.2, as long as the applicant’s supporting documentation corroborates their claims and they continue to meet the MEC for Express Entry, including the requirements of the program to which they were invited to apply.
- If the applicant’s CRS score at the time of the e-APR is lower than the lowest-ranked score in the round of invitations, the application should be refused under section A11.2 for not having maintained the qualifications that would justify the ITA.
