Ah, you're right, thanks! I now see it mentioned starting from the bottom of page 17:

4.2.9 Work History
In this tab, you must list all of your paid work experience in the last ten years (or since the age of 18 if this was less than ten years ago). You must include your start date, hours of work per week, job title, National Occupational Classification (NOC)
code, employer name and country of work. If your job was in Canada, indicate whether or not you had a valid work permit.

Bar at street level, hotel rooms above for tourists. Throw special events on the major holidays of all the different countries. It could become a nice place for tourists to visit to get full exposure to the diversity of Canada. It should be in a central location near office buildings, so locals can come when they want to try something new and exotic for lunch.
happy to see that many are optimistic of Canada's prospect...
I see great potential for like minded people to come together and do things that couldn't have been dreamed back home....
Well connected infrastructure & availability of cheap land an hour or two outside city, and a friendly & encouraging government, the inflow of immigrants doubling up as potential opportunity as clients & affordable labour...all are there to embark on the dream... :)
--
And making $300-500 a day from a non capital intensive business is easier to achieve than landing up a $180k job.. anyone landing without any super-niche expertise will require 3-5 years to be drawing $180k an year...but to have a small restaurant doing $500 net takes probably less time & will keep you more happy... :)
And if ppl come together, they can do survival jobs by spending attention by turn at the ventures till it gets established....just thinking...

Food trucks are popular here in New York and in some other large US cities like Boston. I can imagine some people here starting up tasty food trucks very soon after landing and creating a small international food truck district that might eventually grow into an international restaurant. Since we all will become immigration experts (at least relative to all the useless immigration consultants out there) by the time we land, we can also use that expertise to help and market to prospective immigrants among the tourists.

We all definitely need to remain in close touch after we land in Canada and team up to build some good businesses.

absolutely... :) ...
to add on,the immigration wave & economic activity will have a positive impact on real estate & as I've found out in my research 1 hr away from cities, big houses with vast lands are available at a fraction of city cost...
to quote an example a big beautiful stone house with 13 acres of beautiful land was listed in Perth Ontario @$375k which would mean a mortgage of $1500...
the house is so big with 4 bed /3bath & vast living spaces that it can accommodate multiple families...&the land properly bifurcated, could provide area for small processing/packing units/centralized kitchen for food truck & cookie unit/ a day care &kg school ...
a part of the land could be earmarked to be developed as a small villa project for 10-20 years down the line targeting professionals immigrating with good jobs & yet, could afford only budget property as first buy...say 20 pieces of 20 cents will be 20 villas & that could be liquidated 20years later...if 10 ppl have come together to buy the property each one will keep 2 pieces & 10% equity in the remaining 8 acres + house + other units
----
all on $40k equity in the beginning or $150 monthly commitment towards mortgage....and all get to save their own mortgage expense in return by living in the big house spread on 2 floors & furnished basement..
---++
Now think big...imagine 10 or 20 investments spread around the major cities...
I understand that raising capital is also comparatively easier & cheaper provided one has a fool proof & novel project plan ...
rest @yukon.. ;) :) lest we bore many others...

@lino82 I have also been thinking about real estate. I have rental properties here in New York as well, and I see potential in the major cities and college towns of Canada. I have especially been thinking about immigrants and students as good sources of tenants. I have talked very preliminarily to some of my real estate friends here about investing with me in Canadian real estate after I move to Canada. I think it would be great if a bunch of us can team up to provide more capital and share in some of the research and eventually the property management.

Of course, if you already have full points for foreign work experience, you don't need to include that job.
But, as you've already said, post-ITA you need to declare it under personal history.
Thank you. If at all I am stuck with the right NOC, I will go for that option.

Hi guys, a small question,
In our EE profile. Should we add our work experience that is older then 10 years. I have all the docs but since i cant claim points for it, i was thinking of removing it. However, i also understand that i will have to add these details in the post ITA process, so i was thinking why take it out. Pro and con suggestion would be appreciated.
