totally agree, but dont you think 6.5 in writing can construe as a decent english, i think they should reset their CLB std, however, i bet if they will reset it to 6.5 from 7 BC and IDP will stop giving 6.5 bands to candidates

Well you have to look at the stream you are applying under. If you are migrating as a student, 6.5 is good score, but if you want to migrate as a skilled worker in a country where english is the first language, I believe 7 is a decent minimum benchmark. I know it might be difficult, but you have to realize people from all over the world are competing for these slots and there are plenty of people who are meeting these benchmarks on first try. If not in the first try, then the second one or the third one. IELTS requirements of canada is lenient compared to that of Australia.

Got my WES ECA completed today (Due was 8/3) and created the EE profile just today and got profile status updated to "You are a candidate."!! Finally!

This seems to be a great opportunity. However I would like to know that if a candidate is invited under this scheme, will he still be able to continue with his aaplication for PR through EE?

I know the 2017 immigration plan well
There is target for economic immigeants what remaining is only 19700 applicant to be invited till the end of this year

when only either CIC or Mr.Ahmed can state things with such certainty,you chose to state ur observation,based on mere 45 days trend....and that too,if you had been following this thread you'd have noticed people here gather to lift up each other's spirits and cheer one another till the wait gets over...and we all are sure no dream gives up on anyone unless they themselves do that.....
I've read here two versions about the quota i) 72000 ITAs for 2017 ii)the quota is reffered to is for landed immigrants & that'd mean these ITAs would be in the account of 2018 for which we don't have the target number which I'm sure will be higher than previous years (as mr.ahamed last month stated 300000 per year is going to continue for years,indicating their agenda )...
even if the 72000 was for 2017 I'm sure the decline & rejection has put the numbers through only to just above the half way mark..also the PNP candidates will be exempted from the count as well.....
there was a missed draw in June and the ITAs were lower by 400 nos in the June last and July draw...other than that what is there to tell all is lost...isn't it too pessimistic to state 437 is not safe when the last draw was 440 only..? .....it is .......

wait till end of July at least to state one month one draw...(because June,they had a revamp of the system and that justified the delay and absence of the second draw )..
I'm sure of a draw today as we've had enough pessimism to bring in the draw...

Need another suggestion. SINP has reopened and this time it has my NOC. I was already planning to apply for NS Category B when they'd open it again of course. Should I wait for NS category B to open or apply for SINP now? The reason behind asking this is I am assuming I can't simultaneously apply for multiple Provincial Nominee Program.

Would appreciate if others friends in this forum can also share their views. Thanks.

Yes in November 2016 no additional points given actually we loose points!!
How is he got this huge points

November 2016 change was good for students in Canada
I have Canadian MBA, I got points for that
My points increased in language (gave IELTS Exam and got 8bands which I didn't expect)
I got points for my sibling aswell who got his PR
And some work experience points aswell

Lookin' at your post count I believe you. I'm new to the scene I started following draws only in July after my IELTS result. If I try to read between the lines according to you I will surely get an invite in the next draw (I did receive NOI from Ontario but didn't submit as direct ITA is less messy)



I'm sure we all be permanent residents of Canada soon enough

On the CIC website, everytime I try to login to my EE account, after I enter my login credentials, I am redirected to home page of CIC website.
Everytime I have to try multiple login attempts before I reach to the security question page. And then I am able to login successfully after minimum 4-5 attempts each time. I am trying to login with Chrome and Firefox, but in both the browsers I have to attempt several times before I finally reach my profile page.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Please suggest a solution...

Hope is not when you say scores will not go below 450, this was last year's sentence! If you knew EE pool better you would know what I mean. And finally do you know the difference between ITA and qouta? ITA doesn't mean landed immigrant, do you know how many people don't accept ITA, around 40%!
