Hello, I am currently puzzling with my EE profile. My CRS is 407 (profile created on 17 July) and I received provincial/territorial interest letter on 18th July. EE profile has been accepted under FSW category and by Oct I might be qualified for CEC category as well. Few of them are suggesting to wait until Oct for the direct ITA under CEC. Few of them suggest not wait and proceed with opening account under OINP and start application. I am confused. Any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
For me it was an easy decision - I was at 403 and my next birthday was looming large which would take my points further down. So I decided to apply to Ontario and was nominated after 37 days.

I got my ITA on July 12. I'm glad I took this path because patience isn't one of my virtues :)

If you don't mind waiting for a direct ITA then it makes sense to wait and save the 1500 CAD. If like me, you're impatient then accept the NOI from Ontario.

Good luck.

What is your expected CRS for CEC? If your CRS will be around 430+, then I suggest better wait for a direct ITA.

My OINP application just got into Decision In Progress stage. Can anyone tell me whether they ask for any additional information at this stage? I am really afraid that IQAS has not yet started processing my application for duplicate copy of ECA which I applied and application was received by them on 7th July. What will happen if OINP asks for it?

Ha ha ha. That's slow! Some people on this forum got nominated in 4 days, others in just a week! The average time in May-June was 3 weeks.

I guess it depends on several factors - skills shortage in Ontario, particular NOCs and your paperwork - if you've everything as prescribed by Ontario your application is processed faster.

I got additional documents request AFTER my status changed to Decision in Progress.

Ontario usually gives you 30 days to submit the additional documents.

Good luck.

Hello Friends,

Need your help. I am stuck in a situation. My CRS is 413, got NOI from Ontario on 29th June. So waited for next 2 draws but last one was again 440. So accepted the NOI, however haven't register the profile in e-OINP, because my agent wants to gather all the required documents so that we should be able to submit them within 14 days, post registering of profile.

In the list I am supposed to provide by birth certificate, however I don't have that available. As per MC, they don't have the records of my birth year. The records were washed away during a flood in the past. The only birth certificate I have is from 10th standard. So could anyone of you please tell me that is birth certificate from MC must for Ontario PNP? If I am not able to provide that then what is the alternative I have.

Secondly I am providing my EPF as POF, so will my UAN passbook work or I will have to get the certified certificate from EPF office?

Your replies would really help me.

Regards,
Harpreet Singh

What happens if IQAS did not process my application of duplicate ECA on time. What can I do to help myself?
I'm not sure about IQAS but WES sends the duplicate report on the same day.

Do you have any email confirmation or acknowledgement from IQAS when you ordered your duplicate copy? You can send that as a proof to Ontario.

Isn't ICT sector is in demand as far as skill shortage is concerned, that's why they had ICT week, what's your NOC anyway?

@Wandering Mind I just have a payment receipt and order confirmation from IQAS. But they didn't send any confirmation after they received my signed application yet

Someone I know got the Municipal Corporation in his area to write a letter stating that they don't have his birth records. He then attached this letter to his school leaving certificate (that had his date of birth) and a letter of explanation stating the situation.

Good luck.

Don't worry, you have enough proof that you have initiated the process. If IQAS don't send the report to Ontorio within the stipulated timeline, you can show all the documentary proof to Ontario.

Unfortunately I'm unaware about the exact procedure for IQAS (because WES was my evaluation agency) so I can't help you much there.

Hope someone else who's chosen IQAS will be able to help you better.

All the best.
