Hi guys,
Really need some advice, I am so disappointed right now. So I got my IETLS results back today, I checked online. I filled out all the CIC application and got an ineligible for express entry, the email stated that I could improve my language score which was R8.5, W7, L8, S8.5 or improve my education or work history, I have an BSc and am studying for a masters. Am I right in thinking that I need to do a completely new application in case I have completed something wrong? Or will they reconsider me for a PNP as I put Ontario down as an option? Or will I basically not hear anything else back from them until I enter a new application?

I did not put down the IETLS certificate number as I haven't physically received the results yet so may have missed something else off the application. I have not even been awarded any CRS points, however, according to Canadavisa's calculator I should have 378, which is still not a lot but I would have thought I may have been put in to the draw with this amount?
Can anyone of you awesome people advise please? I'm so gutted at the moment.

Thank you so much.

Your Language scores are way above average so that's not your problem. It must be something else that's causing your profile to be ineligible. I think you should do a new application and this time double check that you are including at least the minimum required funds for your family size. Also make sure you add your correct IELTS results certificate info/reference number when you have the hard copy in hand (this is a must!!), and make sure you add your WES bachelors degree evaluation info (I'm guessing you have done this already). You must also show that you have at least 1 years more full time work experience as well. Select Ontario or even all provinces as provinces that you are interested in. Try the CRS points calculator with the correct updated info then do a brand new profile and you should be fine. Don't lose hope. Your points may even be way higher if you enter all the correct required info.

Hi, thank you for your advice, I put down 40,000 but I am wondering if it might be because a) I did not put down the number from my IETL results letter? or b) because I have not had my degree credentials checked against a Canadian equivalent?

Your score looks fine to me. I think you should recalculate and check the amount of money you are coming to Canada with. But based on your IELTS that's a perfect score

Hi,
Thank you so much for your help, I think it may be that I haven't had my degree verified, I am in the process of doing a new application but if I am unsuccessful I will have to get my results sorted. Thank you again for the help, I really appreciate it as I am really stressing now.

Hi again, bearing all that I have previously said do you guys think it would even be worth my paying out to get my education verified with what details I have already got, i.e. ietls score, 60, 000 Canadian dollars, 6 years plus work history. Thanks again for your help.

Yes the Educational Credential Assessment is a requirement. Your EE profile shouldn't really even be submitted into the pool without that. It takes a while (a few weeks) to get it completed, so my advice would be to start working on getting it ASAP. When you have that in hand along with the IELTS hard copy results, only then should you do the new EE profile.

Hi guys,

Is the address mentioned on the WES evaluation important? when applying for WES I gave my friend's address in Canada as the mailing address as it was faster and cheaper. will this be an issue?

and when I upload the WES evaluation, should I upload the whole document or just the pages with the credential evaluation is enough?

Thanks for your response. One more query. My wife has lived in two cities within the country over the last few years. In this case will I be required to submit 2 separate police certificates?
Thanks Tanaka, appreciate your help.

On filling out the express entry form I had indicated that I have a family member in Canada (Uncle). While going through the list of documents required as part of the ITA, I came across the requirement for submitting proof. The following is required.

You must provide proof of your relationship with your host or family member. This can include:
I am not clear on what would I be required to submit in this scenario. How would I go about establishing proof of relationship with my Uncle. For clarity he is my paternal uncle (my father's brother).

Further, is it OK to go back and select NO to the question asking me to mention any family member at the ITA stage?

Please guide.

Birth certificates for your father and your uncle would show that they are brothers and have the same parents. Add your birth certificate as well to show who your father is. That's how you would prove the relationship, with the 3 birth certificates combined into one PDF.
If for some reason you can't get scans of the birth certificates then you can change the answer to No for that question; but make sure in this case that you add a LOE explaining clearly why you made the change and why you cannot secure the docs for proof of the relationship. Hope this helps.

My graduation and post graduation marksheets contain the name of the courses, grades and signature of controller of examination/Registrar. Both my degrees and marksheets are from Universities listed in the WES list. Is it ok if I send the photocopies of my marksheets and degrees again attested by the Registrar/Controller of examination and send it in a sealed envelope as per the prescribed format? Or are only transcripts accepted?

Hi ,
I have a below query Regarding POF.

I have a joint account with my mother in law and husband. It is an old account with sufficient money that is required for POF and it does not have any sudden jumps i mean money is quite steady since 2 years. Is there any way this account could be used as POF with an affadifit from my mother in law stating she has no objection if we use it. And it is an either or survivour account means any of us 3 can withdraw the money.

Pleae advise on this. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi all,
Two times i submitted my EE profile and it shows ineligible to apply although while calculating CRS it shows above 400 points. The main problem what i think is that My wife primary applicant cleared her Chartered accountancy in July16 and started working as CA in india since September16. She has experience as Accountant, from 2005-11. while filing EE profile, we choose primary NOC as 0111 as she is working in this from september16 and for other work experience of 2005-11 we choose another NOC code 1311. I tried 2 times to make EE profile both times it shows profile ineligible. From the guidance of champion Member @ TanakaM i got to know that i can choose primary NOC code to 1311 and then apply. Now my question is if i make 3rd time EE profile and choose 1311 as primary NOC, what will i fill in current job, or i dont fill current job and only fill the work experience from 2005-11? If anyone can clearify then i can make another profile. One more question what will i do with 2 ineligible profiles as there is no option to delete them either.

IELTS: R - 7.5, L - 9, W - 7.5, S - 7
CRS: 443 with NOC 0111, and with NOC 1311 crs 418
