Passports to CPC Ottawa- June 2017

When you say your application was approved on 15th. did you see the counterfoil number after logging in or that was the day when you received the email that there is a new message on your profile?

I think it will activate today, because the Canada post only collecting in the certain time of the day. and haven't process it I believe.

I called Canada Post, they told that collection time is around 6pm Ottawa time. So, hopping for today

This is unexpected. Perhaps the delay on activating is on Canada Post's side.

I am really nervous now..looks like everybody who sent passport on June 12 (received June 13) got their approval.. I can't concentrate on work...My bp is so high...No status update in my application.. Tried calling them and it says due o high demand we cannot connect

I know it's easy to say that now that my application is approved, but there is no reason for them to request your passport other than formally approve the application. As I told a friend that asked me if the PPR means approval: they wouldn't request the PP to set fire to it.

So it's just a matter of time. And we are all nervous until we can touch our resident's visas.

If your heartbeat is really high and you can't concentrate on work just because your application hasn't been approved in a couple of days, that's not normal. Stop being so paranoid. What are you even worrying about?

I'm sure we all feel the wait is so frustrating and we all who are waiting are wondering why isn't mine getting an update. Since they have asked for passport that surely means approval else they would have not asked for passport. Try to call like 8 am EST tomorrow morning and till that time breathe and think positive. I'm nervous too and all sort random thots are coming to my mind as well but I've posted a note on desk wall stating everything will be good. It helps to read. Also try to stay busy and may be you could think about what all you gonna do when you land there, just google random stuff and keep your mind deviated. Sending positive vibes to you and everyone else. Good luck
