I am not much sure how and when they expect their quotas to be filled up. They have 2500 for HCP stream, maybe one should not delay their application just to secure the place within quota limit, but I am not sure :)
I was wondering about the same thing. Does Ontario publish the figures (NOIs issued, NOIs accepted, Nominations issued etc) anywhere?

Why do I feel the score is going to fall significantly tomorrow. I cant justify it with figure work but just an intuition. :)

What would be the ratio of active forum members awaiting a draw to the candidates not active in this forum with CRS of 400+?
I'd say 1:50, hence for each distinct active member here there may be 50 others awaiting a draw. If there are, say 50 members here, there must be 2500 candidates with 400+ CRS.

Still, there seems to be a lot of hope. This thread is comparatively "silent" compared to the previous Ray of Hope threads.

Yes, the reason behind silent is the points went up to 423 from 415 in Ray 61. So, again in this draw likely to happen on day after tomorrow will be in the same range to 415. We can't calculate the active members in ratio I think so.

To all fellas who received Ontario NOIs:

The average monthly accommodation charges in Ontario is about 750 CAD. And, here we are cribbing about the 1500 CAD fee for the PNP. Would you not spare your two month's worth rental money to become a permanent resident of a wonderful country? I certainly would.

A question about PNP, considering the rigorous documentation requirement from Ontario in particular:
  • Is the documentation process to be repeated for PNP nominated profiles, after one gets the ITA? Doesn't receiving an Ontario PNP imply that most of the requirements like Work Experience, PoF, etc. have already been fulfilled and CIC demanding the same, a second time, be kind of redundant?

I hope the ransomeware malfunction doesn't stop them issuing ITA tomorrow. I don't see any other reason they are not having a draw tomorrow. Tomorrow 413-414, next draw on 31st may 405-406. Then the 6th june changes and again back to 420's for a couple of draws. Then there would be great competition between 350-400 range as the have better scope to increase their crs scores in one way or other as compared to those above 400 range. Cheers gud luck everyone.

It's not just about the money.

The OINP processing time is anywhere between 1 to 6 months and after that you've to factor in the ITA processing time which takes another 3 to 6 months.

And the last reason is what you've already mentioned in your question - more rigorous paperwork, some of which (like bank statements) have to be done again for ITA.

So in a nutshell, you spend more time AND money if you take the OINP route.
